Very little of any real academic value out there is free. Google scholar maybe?

If you want something really good, though, I'd suggest buying a subscription to jstor.org. Beyond that, I couldn't tell you. Your local university's library might have some answers.

Answers about the online content they might offer to the public that is.

I think everything on the internet should be free (except for actual products you order that are made of real atoms (not just electrons)

              That would be nice.

But jstor.org is actually a huge collection of scanned articles from real, published academic journals.

I've googled for some and have come up with the usual, encyclopedia, encarta etc. I was wondering if there's something else out there which is worthwhile.

Since you're dreaming, why not ask for a million dollars as well?

those are made of real atoms (yes even ones that are electronically transferred represent real money and can actually be withdrawn as real money)

he doesn't believe they are credible. Despite the fact no one has refuted any of the information in the Vietnam article (in the other thread about Wikipedia).
