        The 1920s or the 1890s would be interesting times with new inventions, new ideas, and yet still some what the same. I'd like to go back to the colonial period and see what life was like for a colonialist in British India or French IndoChina. Hell even one of the African colonies would be interesting.

          The 1890s, the world was still innocent. Someone said people changed around 1910 or so. A famous woman said that. Don't recall.

                      1940s were good for what they were good for. Not much really. Insanity on a global scale. Every decade since a mere puppet on string of the damned 1940s.

                          Actually the map from the 1870's is even better, then those Balkan brats are nice and purply Ottoman as well. (IIRC)
