Been a long time since I've seen it, but I'm pretty sure it was more than a kiss. Why the heck this is supposed to work is a completely different question, since kissing her is enough to poison one of the bad guys...

Been watching Read or Die on G4. I have to say, I really hate the character Nancy. She is the most sniveling, whiney, useless character.

I decided to get the RoD DVD's from netflix once they're available in lieu of watching it on G4. Nancy's dub irritated me too much.

--"Been watching Read or Die on G4. I have to say, I really hate the character Nancy."

That's the TV series, right? She does have excellent reason to be that way, and if you've seen the OVA you'll know part of it. More gets revealed in the TV series.

--"Nancy's dub irritated me too much."

Heh. Pretty much all dubs irritate me too much.

--"Arn't you all a little old for cartoons?"

                  Never.

Watch something like, oh, Perfect Blue or Jin-Roh. Or maybe Texhnolyze. Animation is just a medium, it doesn't dictate content.

He had to screw the girl in order to be cured. I don't remember if she was still alive at the time. For some reason, the poison was supposed to counteract itself.
