Beating an infant to death with a 2 x 4 out to qualify.
      Touché

      Let the kid fry!

to me, it shows an escalation of violence. it's not like he swung the 2 X 4 and then realized what a terrible thing he done, and didn't realize how much damage it would do.

I can see losing your temper, kids do it all the time. I could almost see a kid hitting his sister with his fists in a fit of rage.

But at least in my case, when I'm blinded by rage, I don't think to grab other weapons. In the kids case, he had a moment to stop and find another weapon to use. Most people would stop at that point, not find other weapons.

Funny, the article makes absolutely no mention of violent video games, movies or tv. So how is this proof of any kind that they are harmful?

do you think it's normal for 7 year olds to beat their sister to death? He had to learn that behaviour from somewhere.

Maybe he learned it from his parents

bad parenting is worse the violent tv.

BTW, since there is no mention of videogames anywhere in the article, and there isn't even a hint that this 7-year-old even watched TV, Diss gets a stunning .5/10 for his rather pointless troll.

Although he really believes that humans are born without violent tendencies, while "violence" is inherent in all territorial creatures.

TEF, haven't you noticed that Diss is a compulsive troll? He's not even really trying to get people to bite. He just posts them for the heck of it.

explain the rapid increase in violence since the advent of television.

believe it or not, I'm not trolling (for once)

Why was a seven year old left alone with an infant that young for that long?

Why do people keep believing this myth that stuff like this didn't happen in the olden days? The difference with back then, is that now, it's made public.
