I am utterly sick of that Crazy Frog, so much now to the point where I won't even watch damn TV...it's getting to the point of harrassment!!!

It almost makes me nostalgic for the Darkness' Christmas Special Song
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Wasn't the top UK song something like "show me the way to armadillo" a few weeks ago? That was pretty sad as well...

Yep, it was. I think the one thing that needs to be noted is that no one really buys singles any more (and this is the singles chart) except kids. You're just going to get a load of crap in there.

I don't know if it's operational yet, but there were plans to include downloaded songs over here.
I'm not sure how they intend to track download behavior, but it would be a good addition on indicating how popular a song is...

There's a Download Chart in the UK, which rates songs based on popularity of being downloaded. No clue what sources they use to track it....

I'm with Drake, anything that stop those depressing balladeers from getting to number 1 is OK with me!

Anywho, who judges a countries 'music scene' by it's pop charts?

Who's judging the country? I'm just judging their musical taste.

I wonder if Crazy Frog is getting played on the radio too, or just the saturation of TV ads?

According to a notice in today's newspaper, the creators of the frog are Swedish.
