BTW, I had an interview with the local prison facility. But it's contract, so I'll be able to get experience, get money, and hopefully save for my move up to the mainland.

The job is basically admin stuff, customer service etc at a major building society. On a temp-to-perm at the moment but hopefully they'll take me on. The rate is already pretty good so I think this will be a good opportunity for me.

Frankychan, I think I speak for all of the OT when I say that we'll be wanting photos of prisoners in compromising positions

That's how I started working. I did pretty much the works- from cashiering to management- before moving into pensions.

New job is working at a building society, admin/customer service/office-man***** kinda stuff which isn't too bad .
