Who is looking at the girl in pink?
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Once upon a time I'd have given myself to the empire for a piece of that.

I kill any Jedi Darth Vader asked me to for a piece of that.

The girl in pink is kind of cute too, I'd let her join in.

Interesting, Lancer. The vast majority of people of taste agree that while the actual saber battles themselves are quite ornate, the dialogue, acting, and plotting of the three prequels have been almost uniformly abyssmal. They feel that they lack the creativity and youthful energy and exuberance of the first three films, which drew on mythology rather than stilted politics to create its characters.

I think I'm going to draw a conclusion from the fact that you liked the prequels better.

The light saber battles in 4, 5, 6 looked like real battles between real men as opposed to the overly CGIish quality seen in 1, 2, 3. It's hard to take these battles seriously when they go on and on forever and the combatants are performing so many aerial acrobatics that you can't help but think "cartoon." I mean, Obi Wan Kenobi didn't even look winded when he was done with Vader. Compare with the pain and agony clearly visible when Luke fought Darth.

Well as long as he doesnt come into my bedroom and remove my origonal versions Mr. G.Lucas can do what he wants with his idea.

I'll take Darth+Obiwan(episode4) over this new lot anyday, they actualy act and give a realism to the chararcters that fancy ligthsaber duels and flashing lights cant replace imho

I suggest they don't mess with 4, 5, and 6, so that purists can still have their memories, but make all new versions.

The sword fight between Obiwan and Darth in IV was just pathetic.

When I watched it in '77 I was impressed, but...

Maybe episodes 7, 8, and 9 should be "The Pirkening". They could bring in all sorts of neat Bab 5 and Star Trek ships and uniforms and such.

Harrison Ford had a very minor role in Apocalypse Now, one or two scenes in the beginning. Before Star Wars he had a (also minor) role in Lucas´American Graffitti that nevertheless gave him some attention. Nothing like Han Solo though...
