Probably "Blackadder". Followed by "Monty Python's". "Faulty Towers" is good, as is "Father Ted".

Oh, where to start. Imran's are cult British TV but there are others which are not as well known outside of the UK. Anyone heard of 'Only Fools And Horses' or 'One Foot In The Grave' when it comes to sitcoms?

Oh man, just too many to mention them all...

Yes Minister (Prime-Minister), House of Cards - To Play the King - The Final Cut, Python, Watery Fowl , The Young Ones, Bottom, AbFab, Allo "You Stupid Woman!" Allo, Blackadder (the last episode had the most depressing end scene ever), and the list goes on and on...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
          Once again...

Have I Got News for You is good, but it often won't translate.

Argh! I forgot to mention The Singing Detective. As well as being one of the greatest series ever it also made me aware of the fact that good music didn't start with Elvis

There's a dutch version. It was pretty bad at first but now is ok.

You rang m'Lord. ( not as good, but a good show to watch on a sunday)
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
