The only other place I visit enough for people to actually remember me is Eventis and I believe lately most people is viewing me as the Ming of Eventis... except I don't have a banning rod
This space is empty... or is it?

      I wouldn't know if it's "most people".

          $14.95?!!

Having read them a few times on occasion they were good but very big in scale and I never got drawn in really.

I imagine a large proportion of the users will go when they switch to a subscription anyway.

I usually match my posting style with the style of the forum. For example, on other forums, you'd see me go: , and posting short and meaningless posts.

              ....

              well, I guess I don't change much.

Yes it is, here you post large meaningless posts.

                  Really? Those crazy freaks!

I've probably contributed around $15 a year to Counterglow voluntarily but it's more erratic and I wouldn't do it if it was compulsory.

I can't believe I haven't visited Straight Dope for more than a year!

I used to occasionally post at SDMB, even paid for the first year, but never was really drawn in. I didn't renew my subscription. That board tends to take itself far too seriously. The Pit is a pain to read at times thanks to the petty issues being made huge crises and all the OMG INTARNET FEUDS by self-important people.

Hell, I've probably posted at least half as many posts at Something Awful in 4 months than I posted to SDMB in 4 years.

The only thing I know at Something Awful is Friday Web. Are there other good features?

Actually, now you can know - you can browse the General Bull**** forum and most other forums without paying the membership fee. So, you can decide for yourself.

Ahh, yes, I remember actually browsing it some time ago.

Ok, but it's like a bunch of Apolyton OTs, really. Only slightly more witty, but I blame Eventis' evil influence on poly.

Blame 'Poly for what Eventis is. Eventis is a 'Poly OT in tis purer form
