Was Richard Nixon a 'Dick'? Did his friends and family say, 'hey, Dick, blah blah...'

Its bad to have the name Dick, but when you combine it with a bad surname it is 10x worse. I am taking an evening class with someone named 'Dick Smoker'. He looks as if he has taken a few beatings in his life...

The only joke I know involving his name doesn't even make use of his otherwise rather um.. inviting surname.

Following a visit of his to Berlin in the 60's there was talk of renaming the famous alley Unter den Lyndon.
