Combat Ingrid, I am listening to all those sound clips. Red Dawn, then Starship Troopers. I remember all those scenes.

      Movie music.

Those 2 remind me alot of Robocop, which I think also had good music.

I knew it! I checked his filmography and Robocop was one of his.

        Trainspotting, without a doubt.

(Though I admit, Balderunner is a close second)

(and Kill Bill a close third)

He has a special style you recognize easily. It's just a shame he has done too many movies, somewhere along the road he seemed to stop coming up with new ideas, but mostly just reusing old ones.

The Robocop music is really cool too. *sings* Na-na-na-naa-naa, na-na-na-naa...

                      Blade Runner and Vangelis

I think on one has mentioned Trainspotting yet, it's pretty good, I say it because it's one of the two soundtracks I've actually bought in my life.

The other one is .. Boogie Nights Awesome soundtrack..

Nothing wrong with The Sound of Music. It's not great music, but it does what it's meant to do.

And speaking of TSOM, I'll give a shout out to the music in Moulin Rouge!

The Pink Panther series (peter sellers) has some good tunes too.. My favourite ones are when he slowly starts hassling, like the one where he has all these bags from the grocery store and he is on the elevator trying to come out, man what a show! I always laugh so hard in that scene it makes my dizzy. It has that tune playing in the backround (like always) and it suits the moment perfectly.
