  • Graphing Calculator Question

I am about to start going back to school for my biochemistry degree (with a minor in math and physics). As I was looking around though the various calculators, I realized that I was at an inpasse. I can't decide between the TI 89 Titanium or the HP 49G+. I know both are good, but which one is better? Which of the two would you choose and why? I want this calculator to last throuch my 5 years or so that it takes to finish up my BS degree. ~GRINS~ Yes, I am also full of it!

    Thanks for the help.

TI-89 graphs the gamma function too slow.

...and it can't even friggin' derive the inverse hyperbolic functions from their respective equations.

    ...yes, I get bored.
