The Chinese love coming up with silly, ambiguous phrases that have real political implications. Calling their economy "socialism with chinese characteristics" for example, means they can develop a capitalist economy and still call it socialism...
Calling their national ideology "Marxism-Leninism-Maozedong thought-Deng Xiaoping thought" is equally ridiculous...

Once again... this "two shores, one china" is going to be interpreted in different ways. But I'll agree it is a concession on their part, and one that I was not expecting.
