Sports tycoon Malcolm Glazer has unveiled details of his £790m ($1.5bn) takeover bid for Manchester United.

In a statement on Friday, Mr Glazer confirmed that the offer would be 300 pence for each Manchester United share, valuing the club at about £790.3m.

He now owns 71.8% of United - after buying the 28.7% stake of Irish racing tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier - but needs 75% to delist the club.

The Fans should have worried about this when the club turned into a PLC. Too late now, that's the problem with being a public company.

Glazer's done nothing wrong, it won't affect the world of football other than one second rate English club who are a massive 20 points short of being a title winning side.
