    Everyone chooses their friends.

    If somebody is seriously a "friend to everyone", it's clearly on a superficial level.

    Some people are in positions to be able to choose their friends.

      Ok Asher, but the "My friends are ok but other people suck" quote seems awfuly narcissistic. No? Not that its a bad thing....But it is, well, to me it is.

          yeah what Asher says. Jeesh..it's like if you put the cheese on top of the ham you're a pervert anal intruder, and if you put the ham on top of the cheese you actually wanted to be your dad's lover.

          Of course I chose my friends and they chose me. It's a two-way street. I'm not a friend of someone who I don't like.

                  well I don't necessarily like people too much. Why would I? I don't hate people. I get along with everyone. But I AM choosy of who I spend my time with outside school/work etc. Why wouldn't I be? It's my life, I rather spend it like I want to, and with the people I want.

                    All I am saying is that I have seen you here for years and I just knew you would have such weird results, just like I was pretty sure Asher was a narcissist.

                      ANd don't try to pull any superficial crap. The friends I have are dear to me and if they piss me off it's not like I just go and find new friends. No... they are real friends, and most of 'our group' come from years back. We have experienced a lot, we have seen the world together (nothing like a long trip outside your country to see how you get along with people) etc etc. Boyfriends and girlfriends come and go in the group. But the group stays. That's because we're friends.

                      I don't know what's narcissist about that. I don't go sniffing in places I'm not wanted either, and I expect it to be common sense for everyone else.

                        Skywise, so? I didn't deny I was maybe histronic a bit, by what the definition in there is.

                        This be the definition. Everything checks, except I don't dress provocatively or exaggerate illnesses, friendships or relationships. But other than that, sure. So what? Is this a bad thing? It's just an attribute of mine. It's like 'the man has brown shoes'. I mean.. so what?

                                Well they do. It IS a subjective matter, and for me it's a fact. It's not a universal fact. For me personally it is, and that's thje only thing that matters, for me. And I treat people who suck the same. Meaning I treat my friends as a friend, and I treat everyone else friendly but same, meaning I try to be nice, not rude, but depths of your problems, I likely don't care. You see the tears again.
