      che, don't they have any jobs where you live? Flippin burgers, anything? I may end up pumping gas if the casino doesn't take me but at least there's some work here...no fun but wtf? Is there anything there?

          I'm ready to go apply at Starbucks if I don't get a job this month. I have one definate and one probably interview lined up, and a possible 2nd interview also. Two are in Miami, which presents a certain monetary problem, as it costs about $8 to go to and from Miami from here. Plus it takes all friggan' day.

            I think he's afraid that if he accepts such a position he'll never get another descent paying job.

            But yeah, bro, just take something. Maybe not burgers but get a bank job or something similar. Either you have a 'bad' job in your resume' or a big blank spot in yer employment history. Neither is great but one does pay better.

                The problem with taking a bad job is that once you step out of the IT industry, its damned hard to get back in.
