    What you don't know could fill a book.
    Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

            Asus makes motherboards. The A7V is a particular class of MB.

            A = Asus
            7 = generation of AMD cpu compatibility
            V = Via chipset.

                      I see your British tank, and raise you a Taborite battle wagon:

                      " Zizka did not attempt to make them adopt the conventional armament and tactics of the time, but let them make use of such weapons as iron-tipped flails and armored farm wagons, surmounted by small cannons of the howitzer type. His armored wagons, when used for offense, easily broke through the enemy lines, firing as they went, and thus enabled him to cut superior forces into pieces. When used for defense, the wagons were arranged into an impregnable barrier surrounding the foot soldiers; they also served to transport his men. Zizka thus fully anticipated the principles of tank warfare. "

                      Zizka, John yän zhēshˈkä [key], d. 1424, Bohemian military leader and head of the Hussite forces during the anti-Hussite crusades of Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund. Before the Hussite Wars, which gave his military genius the opportunity to develop

                      The inventive and resourceful Zizka has a whole chapter to himself in a book called, errmm, something like 'Mediaeval Warlords'.

                      ...patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone. Edith Cavell, 1915

                          I had a friend in school who had a disturbing habit of getting very excited and rubbing his thighs a lot, when shown pictures of old WWI +WWII tanks

                          He also liked to vote for maggie thatcher when she was in power.......not sure if there is a link, but i suspect so

                            Am I right?? That thing has no turret but just a front-aiming main gun? Seems kinda limiting.

                              An truly excellent question BeBro, and one we need to look into in endless detail I think. Need to come up with a better title for such a thread... any ideas?

                              molly bloom, I consider myself raised! The taborite battle wagon indeed. That guy was ahead of his time.

                              child of Thor, your friend sounds very familiar, hmm. Fellow Thatcher supporter to! :scratches balls: Hey, lets post some tank pics!

                              "Am I right?? That thing has no turret but just a front-aiming main gun? Seems kinda limiting."

                              Limiting indeed Zkrib. That's what killed it in the end iirc. The theory behind the design is that the turret sticking way up was what makes tanks so vulnerable. However as you are no doubt aware, they are kind of handy in aiming the main gun. The Swedes figured another way of aiming the main gun, by hydrolics in the chasis. They loved the thing... Now they use Leopards, almost as good as our Abrams.
