  • I love Liverpool but....

    ...I have to emigrate.

This country has been slowing driving me round the twist for years, and tonight it has gone into hyperdrive. It's not going to change any time soon, at least not in the way I want. I can't change the world, but I can move to a part of it more in keeping with my ideologies - such as they are.

So educate me. Seriously. I've got at least a couple of years to think about this but the sooner I start learning, the better. What's your country like, politically? How do you decide on governments? What are the over-riding beliefs of your society? Anything from the really basic to stuff I haven't a hope in hell of understanding, its all welcome.

I am dead serious about this - I want to know what options there are outside the UK and US.
Desperados of the world, unite. You have nothing to lose but your dignity.......

I think you may like evil evil Finland or one of the other Scandinavian countries.

First you should tell us your 'ideologies'.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

              We vote.

I don't really understand the question... There is really no such invididual being as "the society", society is made up of invididuals and I don't think I can speak on behalf of every other citizen of this society.

Anything from the really basic to stuff I haven't a hope in hell of understanding, its all welcome.
If you're serious about moving, Wikipedia is a surprisingly helpful guide.

'cos no one wants to live there!

Even the indigenous animals are going extinct in an effort to escape the place.

my country is very open to illegal immigration. don't let the american haters goad you. There are immigrants everywhere and contrary to popular believe they are accepted in most areas. Though I will admit illegal immigration is much, much easier than trying to do it legally.

I thought there now are plenty of Asians who're not welcome in Australia in NZ?

I just voted - Socialist Labour.
You could try North Korea. Arthur Scargill and the rest of that lot would be right at home there.

Remember that, when he was president of the miner's union, Scargill refused to support the Polish Solidarity union.

Aus is fussy, NZ less so (but you're right, it still helps if you are white)

I think she's just another idealist hippie who'll learn not to take politics so seriously once she wakes up. Give it a rest already.

Reds: fussy? what do you mean with that?
