It's perfect for notetaking, and OneNote was designed with them in mind.

Remember, even if your brand new gizmo is the sexiest thing in the universe, you won't notice it after a couple of weeks. I bought a sexy flat panel last Christmas and I'm not even noticing its sexiness anymore. I bought a Mini iPod a couple of weeks ago and, again, I barely look at it.
