I finally convinced my parents to let me buy a laptop. I haven't decided how much I want to spend - I have a bit under $2000, but I don't really want to spend more than half of it. Recommend me one

Kuci bagged groceries at Giant all last summer. Kuci has babysat for the other parents in the neighborhood since he was 12. Kuci has not had an allowance since then.

ibuypower isn't quite on-brand, but they've got good support from what I've heard, and they're good quality, too.

One thing: if you buy laptop, I'd strongly suggest getting an Intel Pentium M on the new Centrino chipset.

Make sure it's Sonoma/Centrino, not the other one. Sonoma's the new one, being more powerful and what not, yada yada.
