  • If anyone's up for it, there's the Oxford tradition of drunk punting. I have free punts, buy alcohol and probably end up very wet. Yes, glamourous I know!

Seriously, if anyone wants to I can organise drinks/meet-up in Oxford, if you'd like to see something outside of the M25 for a change. You know, some actual pleasant surroundings for once

Failing that, I'm in Birmingham for the summer, and will probably have to travel to London on work, so I'm always up for a drinking session at the weekend

    • Tonight's drinks session was fun.

Rich was accosted by an attractive young woman asking if he was single. He also has a certain young person to serve breakfast to in the morning, after having them spent the night at his place.

Meanwhile I found myself on the bus home with an ex-girlfriend's sister and mum sitting behind me.

      • I could never understand why people disliked public transport, but that about sums it up.

I guess we will have to find something else to take the piss out of Rich for then

        and...

It's been a long time since I was last in Oxford, especially at my old college...I could be up for that...

          • I still don't understand why you are letting Stew stay round your place.

                Not one and the same?

                • If you're loaded, the 25th June is our summer ball. All you can eat, all you can drink, with ridiciously expensive entertainment, champagne, vodka in abundance and enough food to kill horses. But £99 a ticket.

The 18th I can't do, as my exams start on the 20th, and the 11/12th I'm in London training for summer. Which leaves the weekend of the 4/5th June, or a weekday.

                      • Awesome! You'd be more than welcome to come along. The website about it's here. It's based on the White Nights festival of St. Petersburg, and is the only time I'll ever get to go to a party that cost almost £100,000.

                          • Jesus that's an expensive night out. It's also the same night I get back from a trip to Ireland, so I wouldn't be able to make it.

Birmingham?! I'm disappointed! I'd be even more disappointed if I had to go there!
