you don't see people going into prostitution because they run up huge credit card debts. They declare bankruptcy and move on with their lives.

It's only peopel who have illegal vices such as drugs and alcohol, or women who come from abusive homes that get into prostitution. Though some do it just to make alot of money (at least where I live)

i think they could greatly reduce the problem by cracking down on organized crime.

Good point - Kidnapping should be made legal. That way it will all be out in the open and no one would end up in dire straits because of it.

people can get out of it by going to the authorities. but if they are there illegally, and its illegal to be a prostitute, then going to the authorities will just get them thrown out.

If Europe toughens up like the U.S. they wouldn't have these problems.

for instance. Kidnapping is not a major problem in the U.S. compared to Mexico city and latin america. Because we don't have extensive crime syndicates that these areas have.

True we do have some problems (very rare) with immigrants and sex trade. But this is mostly because they are illegal immigrants, and consequently are afraid to go to the police because of it. But these rings are discovered eventually.

It's a problem in Europe definitely, even in Ireland. The abuse of women sickens me, even more than the singling out of a particular continents, or country (e.g. Britain).

Why is it worth singling out Europe in particular boann, when some of the top destinations for trafficked women (Russian, at least) are Qatar and Bahrain... I guess in your view it's acceptable to abuse women if you're an Arab then, huh? What about the sex industry in Bangkok? If you abuse women in Asia, that's all good too? What's your agenda?
