Anyway, unless all women flowed at the same time of the month, it ain't nothing more than silliness.
Why would they all have to have the same periods? If evolution is factual, it could be something from b/millions of years ago and all life reacts to both the sun and moon. Maybe its in our DNA and depends on where we evolved. What if a young girl with an established menstrual cycle moved to the other side of the planet, how many years, decades, centuries, etc would it take for her/their menstrual cycles to change (if at all)? There are lifeforms we can identify that have cycles closely related to lunar cycles (like moonlight), so why not everything else?

That is generally true. What is interesting, however, is that similar studies into the phenomenon show that people who take Mondays and Fridays off more often than Tueday-Thursday are more likely to be alcoholics.

I actually wrote a memo about that fact, telling our employees that it was unacceptable. Despite the fact that the memo was released and prominantly dated "APRIL 1st", my stepmother called an emergency HR meeting to discuss my findings - then she signed off on the memo!

Joke was on me, I guess. Somewhat.

Unless my newspaper's been lying to me, burglary and similar crimes are more common at full moon. Something to do with illumination, ap'rently.
