I was going to start a thread titled, "Should we nuke Idaho the next time someone like McViegh blows up another building?" but I can just jack this one.
Actually, it would be flippin' sweet if you rephrased it to, "Should we nuke Idaho?". Quickly, before my head gets too hot and I Schick all the hair away a la Agassi or Pedro.
I'm reminded about a survey taken during the run up to the invasion of Iraq which showed a direct connection between how much Fox News a person watched and the more misconceptions they had about Iraq. The more Fox News people watched the less in touch withreality they became. Fox News watchers believed Saddam was behind 9/11, that the UN knew about WMD in Iraq but where somehow hiding it from America, that the international community supported invading Iraq and a million other false hoods. Why watch a show that makes you less informed?

Why do people read the National Enquirer?

“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.” - Jimmy Carter
Because Fox News isn't on? Seems like the same people who watch Fox would be a dead ringer for the National Enquirer. Come to think of it they probably also love AM radio with all of its "aliens abducted me and probed me ass" stories.
