done it before. all I noticed was it was a lot harder to do and I had to stop early to prevent heart attack

You really need to rest if you are sick...it isn't a good time to stress your body, it is diverting enough resources to the immune system and could make recovery more prolonged. I'd wait...Speaking of Erith:
