  • I hate Reporting Services for MS SQL/.NET

    ****ing hate it.

Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it.

Stupid piece of ****, I hate it. ****ing hate it. Every goddamned moron involved in the making of this piece of **** needs to be raped by goats, with Pan himself acting as the fluffer.

    Hate it.

This public service announcement has been brought to you by a months worth of frustration with this progams "idiosyncracies" and inability to do even the most basic of things (like its inability to put report fields in headers or footers). Thank you.

I mean, ****, it's almost worth it to go back to Access or something, because this thing just ****in' sucks. Hard. Donkey (and goat) balls.

      Use DB2.

Oh, I know I can spend $$$ for a real report builder... but that requires $$$. $$$ that I wonder why I have to spend, given that I've already spent as much, given that other, more basic MS report building services (ala the one in Access) are more intuitive and powerful.

And cheaper. Did I mention cheaper?

Goddamned piece of ****. Oh, and everybody who was involved in that craptastic "Reporting Services Books Online" needs to have their genitalia cauterized. For starters.

Goddamn, I hate this stupid piece of crap!

It's your own damn fault if your app uses DB-specific functions.

SQL is standardized for a reason.

Ain't my fault. I'm just the report designer.

Anyway, I don't know if the app uses DB-specific functions or not, what I know is that MS Reporting Services is a piece of shiite.

              Pay attention!
