I hate beer too. I've never liked it whether it was day old PBR or the stuff my friend (the brewmaster at one of our local brewpubs) swears will make me change my mind. Give me a whiskey any day.

beer is an acquired taste. You basically have to turn into an alcoholic to appreciate it.

I think CTP2 was slightly better then Civ2 and a far better game then Civ3. Better interface, better combat, more functionality, and less micromanagement.

I'm not an alcoholic. I don't even like to get drunk anymore. I crave the taste of beer.

Ever play in Beethoven's 9th? The bassoon countermelody in the last movement was enough to make me want to be a bassoonist for a time.

But then I realized I'm a glory hog and couldn't stand being just one in an orchestra.

Amazingly enough, I too can play the bassoon, but am most highly trained as a classical pianist.
