    "Kingdom of Heaven"

    Do they already have it in the theatres in the US? Is it good? Or crap? Saw a little ad for it yesterday, it looked quite impressive IMO - but that alone doesn't make a good movie.

    I'm also wondering how they deal with the Christian vs. Muslims thing.....

    It looks pretty cool from the previews I have seen.

    But all they really go into in the previews is big fight scenes.

      Really though, we need to make a movie called, "Historic Big Fight Scene" and just have it run for 2 hours straight, nothing but fighting.

              Saladin is portrayed a nice fella, whilst the rest of the Muslims are wild-eyed screaming fanatics devoid of any trace of humanity. Or so I've heard.

                From what I've seen, it looks like crap, at least as far as historical accuracy is concerned.
                Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

                  When I saw the preview for this movie my stomach turned somewhat... I mean, right when we should be doing everything we can to keep muslim's calm and not alienate them, we release a hollywood film about the crusades. Unless they portray the crusades as a pointless slaughter and as a war of opportunism and intolerance masked as spirituality... I'll be very disappointed.

                        It's from the same guy that brought as Gladiator, so you know that historical accuracy is going to be paramount.
