When I was three years old we had a long-haired guinea pig named Buster Brown, but I was allergic to it and so my parents "brought it to the vet and gave it to a new home." Ten years later I remembered this incident and thought "wait a minute - nobody is going to want a used guinea pig." I brought my suspicions to my older brother, who reached the same conclusion.
