This thread can cover the Bible, the Koran, and anything else seriously considered scripture by anyone. My religion believes in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and two other volumes as standard scriptural works, and that this can be added to. Many things already revealed but not collected into these books are considered scripture. Of course, by the original definition of scripture, wouldn't it cover all literature? Anyway, we've already discussed the Bible a bit, so this can start out focusing on the Koran and other scripture other than the Bible, although of course the Bible can be discussed here too. How many of you have read how much of the Koran, and if you have read it, what perspective are you coming from? I have a copy of the Koran, but haven't gotten anywhere with it. I'm interested in what it says about the Old Testament time period, and nonbiblical prophets from that time period. I guess I'd even like to discuss noncanonized legends related to scripture, like about biblical persons such as Adam.
