  • An Apolytoner for Pope 2005 - Second Circuit

It has been brought to my attention that many deserving Apolytonistas and Polytubbies were left off the original ballot. This second circuit aims to rectify the situation.

The final round will be held this Thursday. Everyone who gets over ten votes in the circuits of the first round will have a chance.

Edit: My apologies to Az, Alex, and Kontiki. I'll try for a third circuit tomorrow.

Everyone who votes for me gets a shiny new pair of wings in Heaven! Or a festive new set of horns in Hell! Whichever one suits your lifestyle choice best!
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

I voted for MRT, because of the porn thing... but now that I see the results Starchild is a much better choice as he is the gay demi-god.

The Starchild is loving and forgiving. For your mistake, I shall only force you to be MRT's after-life fluffer for a mere century or so.

I thought over it and have a new idea - since Wolfowitz is new the boss of the world bank, why not take Rumsfeld as new pope? Of course he'd have to register at Poly to be included in the next poll.....

Vote Starchild and we'll see if we can borrow a bit from Islam, specifically the 70 virgins waiting for you in paradise bit. Don't wanna die a matyr? Who Cares? You'll get them anyway when I'm the freekin Pope!
