For those who want to see the fuzzy image of where I live, here it is. I live in the house circled in red in that subdivision (yes, there is a house there, you just can't see it real well.)

how so, it shows that even wealthier people must make more efficient use of land. We aren't going to give them 1/8 acre or larger lots. We simply don't have the room.

Yeah, and that's obviously what I've said.

He sucks not because he wants to live differently than me, but he sucks because he thinks that Urban Sprawl is good - which is wrong.

              ?

              You do New Jersey?

              You do in NYC?

I am not bothered as much by this in the lesser populated areas ( though this sucks there, also, by wasting billions in fuel costs, and commuting time). Problem is, no matter where you go in the states, it's all the same - This stiffles your nearby nature. You have less parks and public places due to this.

On the main map, if you sail west into the pacific, you come to England.

Shows how little you know of the US. Trust me, NYC isn't even close to 1% of the total land area of the country, nor even 1/10 of 1%. According to the 2000 Census, the size is a mere 303 sq miles (smaller than Jacksonville FL by half), or .00008% of the country's land area. Hell, it's just .005% of the size of the State of New York!

And I've been to Jersey (have you?) Trust me, there's plenty of empty land there too.

Why the **** do I need a "public place" when there's so much empty land about? If I want to look at trees, rest in the shade, and watch the bunny rabbits, all I have to do is step outside... and Knoxville has 400,000 people living in it!

As we Americans are accused of doing all the time to others, you're judging our country by the standards that exist in yours.

                        • I did fail to mention that if you have significant amounts of money you can afford larger lots in my city.

This is a picture of Wayne Newton's propery and house. His property is on the southwest corner of that intersection (Pecos and Sunset).

Mike Tyson's property is in this area as well. I think he's just south of Wayne Newton's property. I'm not sure which one. I drove by one day, and I saw the police at this one property- I assumed that was his. . But I do know it's along Pecos.
