Oh, and that was a pretty good trailer. Definitely makes you want to know more, that's for sure.

I guess, it does take Trailers back to being teasers instead of a synopsis of the whole movie.

For a second there I was trying to remember Kiefer's role in that movie.

The Red eye trailer is a good one, but there are many I have liked far more.

Of all the trailers for the HItchikers Guide I have seen that one is my least favorite.

I am a sucker for big, grandiose movie trailers-why I like the Kingdom of Heaven trailer, thought the cutting a a bit too frantic- I don;t like it when they jump from image to image like a kid with ADD on meth:

I must say thought the international trailer for the movie sucks ass

A nice way of showing how the use of sound and emphasis changes a trailer significantly.

The Trailers for "Toys" with Robin Williams were good. They did all on a sound stage, and on the DVD (which maybe only I own) they have all of the trailers and you it is interesting to analyze each of them, for while they were done on the same sound stage the lighting, sound, etc are different... rather neat.

Toys however, was a big let down. I still liked it.

I have set a rule to myself:

Unless I'm 100% sure that I'm going to watch the movie I wont watch the trailer (this alone make trailers useless). The reason is trailers doesn't show anything about the movie
The worst trailer I've ever seen was to The Village. I saw the trailer after wasting my time watching the movie. As I started watching the trailer (having no idea what movie it was showing) I thought to myself "Wow, that movie looks interesting", but halfway through I noticed the scenes looked familiar and soon realized that I just saw the movie a few weeks earlier and me and my friends (who I watched the movie with) all thought this was the most boring movie ever... only the plot twist at the end was interesting... the trailer and the movie had nothing incommon
This space is empty... or is it?

Looking at the trailers, they just put up one for Bewitched, and I must say it was not what I expected- I expetced simply a [terrible] remake of the original sotry, but the new story is actually a weird take on it. Might actually be worth seeing for cheap in a second run theater.

The Village was dumb... The first scene gave it away, when the fence around the graveyard was made of rusted rebarb. Yeah, I bet they made fences out of molded SS in the 1800s!
