  • Anyone going to the 2005 Coachella Valley Music Festival?

    I know I am.

For those of you who don't know Coachella has become one of the leading Music Festivals on the American West Coast and it is by far the largest Indie Rock festival in California. The line up looks absolutely killer and I'd like to see if anyone is going from Poly

I'm going to be there on the 30th and the first. The plan is to go break the driving up by camping the night before in Rancho Cuyamaca State Park then finishing the other half of the drive the next day. We'd stay at a hotel Saturday night then dive back Sunday night. If we're really tired we might stop off at Anza-Berrego Desert State park just to camp out and enjoy the parklands.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to which bands are must see events and which ones suck?

it depends what you like. personally i'd especially want to see the chemical brothers, snow patrol, mercury rev, bloc party and josh wink on the saturday. on sunday armin van buuren (100% go and see him ), new order, roni size, junkie xl, british sea power, the bravery and kasabian.

lots of the rest look absolute quality as well

I'm frankly suprised that NiN is there, I figured Trent had hung it up.

I've heard the new Weezer single, and frankly its awful.

To add to the above post, I would be sure to catch wilco, arcade fire, bright eyes, and ben watt. Not that the latter couple are must sees...
