  • This just HAD to happen to me...

Of course, this couldn't happen to someone who doesn't care about his car. Nooooooooooooo.

Well guess what...I have a winter car port (Tempo) which I used to store my car during winter. Well the freakin wind decided to blow so hard today that the car port went flying.
While takin off, it made sure to scratch my car at so many plave I cant even count'em all. On the hood, the roof and the WHOLE driver side is ****ed up. And to think that I was going to take it apart this weekend...It had to do this the day BEFORE!!!

Now I have a paint job of about 2500$ to pay off. And no the insurance wont pay cuz I remove it every winter since I dont use my car during those 4 months....

Also, the car port took out my balcony ramp, the gazybo, a small tree and some grass.....

    SPec.

OUUUCH! 2500 dollar paint job? That hurts .. sorry to hear about your misfortune.

But you sell cars, yes? Maybe you could cross the border to sell a car in the US, **** make it used car if it means legal hassle otherwise, sell it to me, because I can bring one tax free car to here, the land of the expensive cars. I'm thinking something sporty, fast, yet reasonable choice. How are the discounts in your place? AFter all I am your friend yes..

      cars don't need paint.

The desert sun has all but destroyed the paint on my hood and the roof of my vehicle. I'm not going to bother repainting it.

I also had a problem in Viriginia with kids putting scratches in my vehicle intentionally. And then when I took it off road, I put more scratches in it from bushes along the sides of the roads.

I dont sell cars anymore. I started my own company. So no I have no discounts on GOOD paint jobs. I could always get a half-assed job for 1250 but its only worth it if you are looking to sell the car fast which I am not...

          Thanks anyways.

Well obviously the car insurance won't pay since you had no insurance at all.

But is this carport part of a house or insured as an "additional structure" on your home insurance. If it is there is a chance you might be covered on a homeowners policy for the carport and for damages to its "contents"-- A longshot idea but if you do have home insurance, its worth checking.

Spec makes rice rockets, but he's white... So it's really strange.

That is what happens when you live in the midwest and are too cheap to build an actual garage.

I, on the other hand, have a garage and I don't use it. Instead, I park my truck under a tree so the birds can poop on it. Keeps it looking white so I don't have to wash it.

No I tried. They wont pay. Theyll pay for the Car port, gazybo, balcony ramp and such but not the car.
