Well I am on the move again...not quite as dramatic as the last move mind you, just to a bigger place, a 2 bed house, in a much nicer area. I have sold my kidneys to afford this. I may need dialysis for every day from now on but at least I will be in comfort when doing it

Seriously though, I will be moving next Tuesday (although I will be able to get the keys Monday evening). My dad is coming down to help me move. The bonus is that my broadband is being transferred and I am getting my bandwidth doubled at no extra cost. Which is fine by me

And I'm out of Erith, festering sh*thole that this is!

Eltham is/was famously 'dry' as I recall.

Yeah, Eltham Palace is a fairly quick walk away - I ought to have a look around there when I get the chance.

'Dry'? As in a low level of precipitation, or is there another meaning here?

                  Housepoor, a little?

Sounds expensive, but I'm happy for you.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I think I better move a bit further south, just to be safe.

I'm getting closer with every move...before you know it I'll be your next door neighbour

Yeah, there are regular buses to Bromley. Hell, on a nice summer evening I could even walk it...
