Has GMT Time changed?

I've been constantly at GMT+8, yet recently Apolyton time has now changed so that it's an hour ahead of me and I had to adjust my profile to GMT+7.

I was under the impression that summer time changes don't affect GMT, so that if London puts its clocks forward an hour in summer, it becomes GMT+1.

Would someone who knows such things please solve my conundrum
