St-Leo, I agree with equality and all but there are very distinct physical and mental differenes between men and women. And surely, those differences would have an impact on history if women had ruled all along.

The kind of social change you are requesting changes too much to allow anything resembling our history to take place. I can't just say that, if women ruled, the Sassanid Persians would have conquered and kept Asia Minor until being displaced by Arabs led by Prophet Fatima.
