    Discrimination based on lawful political affiliation is illegal in the USA.


    Nu uh. Depends on the state. If you have to be fired 'for cause', then it's illegal (it's not for cause). But if you are in an at will state, you can fire people for political belief.

              Oh geez. I am sorry for making a frivolous remark about such an important and serious issue. Next time there is a humorous news story about Playgirl magazine, I will be sure to gather all of the facts, listen to both sides of the story, allowing me make an informed joke.

                    I was going to post this yesterday, but the source is the drudge report. While I regularly read the drudge report, I only take credit in linked articles to legitimate news organizations.

                    She was probably fired because she was incompetant or because of lagging sales.
