yes that is pretty much correct. Prostitution is actually illegal in all of clark county. And it's a decent sized county. You actually have to drive 60 miles for the real "legal" thing. It's not as bad for reno/carson city, as their county is much smaller (actually it's just more narrow), it's quick trip out of town for them.
But that hasn't hurt Las Vegas' image of prostitution. Illegal prostitution is rampant.
Then what is all of those flyers and cards of naked women I keep finding in LV on the Strip?

All those cards are for illegal prostitution. Technically they are "escorts".
but I have never seen an escort escort anyone. They only have one job.
The city does run stings occasionally, but there are so many, they really can't make a dent in the illegal prostitution. And I don't think the city wants to. it's a major tourist draw. They only run the stings for PR purposes to make it look like they are enforcing the law.
The logical thing would be to legalize prostitution, but the casinos didn't want that image. They were already struggling with the gambling image. They didn't want 2 sins at once.
The city has had trouble eliminating all those cards and fliers. The ACLU usualy steps in and defends freedom of speech etc. Though I suspect if the city really wanted to, they could get rid of those cards. It's not like other cities in america have them. Like I said, prostitution while illegal, brins in many asian tourists. Many come here just to get laid as pathetic as that sounds.
either way Jay and Silent Bob strikes back break both of those rules. I'd say the dick sucking references were pretty descriptive. And they were exlamatory as well. The specifically called people a cocksmoker.
