If you pull out all the stops and load yourself up to the neck in work, it is theoretically possible to finish a bachelor degree in two years. What a silly way to spend your uni days, which to many would be the best time of their life.

Yeah, I mean depending on his age he could have been doing a lot of those part time as part of his work...over a period of decades it's certainly not inconceivable how he got the latter four (I would expect the first three were acquired in full time education)...Speaking of Erith:

Or if you do a lot of the prereqs in high school. I've shaved off a year or two of what I'd HAVE to do in college to get a bachelors.Originally posted by Urban Ranger

From what I have seen, undergraduate engineering degrees in the main branches -- electrical, civil, mechanical -- are difficult (or at least very time consuming) in any serious program. So "not even as hard" doesn't mean much to me.The really solid degree, other than the B.Sc., is the doctoral. Master degrees in engineering are usually not even as hard as their undergraduate counterparts.
Like I said, sociology or philosophy or some other worthless field is where it's at for the (sane) professional student.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

You're right of course - its just that I like to think of them as government by and for stupid people.Originally posted by Odin

I don't know. I am suspect of anybody from Johns Hopkins with an advanced physics degree, so KH would fit the bill in any event, assuming he doesn't quit Johns Hopkins and become a professional gambler.Originally posted by Asher
Is KH going for his Masters, or his PhD from Johns Hopkins?Last edited by DanS; March 14, 2005, 01:30.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. I'm not sure what he did at Star Wars, Inc. (SDIO), but I bet it dealt with nukes in space and doubt it was applicable to the real world.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. I'm sorry. Do you have 7 advanced science degrees? Maybe I should listen to him on the feasibility rather than you.
