Has anyone ever tried to find this? Apparently it's a really mysterious river that is documented in many old texts and legends but no-one has ever found the source of any minor or major tributary. Does anyone know it?

The Limpopo is a major river in southern Africa, which forms the South Africa-Zimbabwe and part of the SA-Botswana border. Reaches the Indian Ocean in Mocambique, a bit north of Maputo. There's nothing particularly mysterious about it.

I'm not even going to search but just on the fact that I know it, I'm going to guess it's one of the 10 biggest rivers in Africa (by debit, say).Comment
