  • Illegal cell phone jammers hitting the streets- I want one

what was funny was the guy following the other guy around the mall jamming his cell phone. The guy got all pissed and threw his cell phone to the ground.

It doesn't say how big they are, but I guess if he could carry around, it must be pretty small.

Hmm, I actually stopped to read the article and realized (a) they cracked the same stupid joke I did in the first line of the article, and (b) it does mention how big they are; the lesser, portable models are about the same size as a cellphone.

Right. So you guys may be stopping doctors from being contacted in emergencies situations, might cause people to lose potential jobs if they are on the phone with a potential employer, you could prevent lost people from getting directions, prevent somebody who has an auto accident from getting help from a friend. You could do damage in a number of ways, all because your silence is so precious to you, you don't care you who hurt.

These antisocial morons are a menace to society. They should take these things seriously and throw the people using cell phone jammers in prison.

Loud talkers are annoying sure and tehre are places where taking a phone call is not appropriate but in a MALL??? Whats wrong with making a phone call in a mall?? next thing I'll be told I shouldn't talk to my friends ( standing next to me ) in public.

If a movie theatre or restaurant wants to jam inside their business ( posting notification signs) I would be fine with that . . . but these portable jammers just seem like a way for people to piss off other people for fun

Not to mention the possibility that someone could jam another person trying to make a 911 call.
