The only good thing that Collective Soul ever did was to get their CD bought by Dolly Parton's husband, which led to her doing a cover of "Shine" which is IMHO a really great cover and light years beyond the original.Only feebs vote.Comment

Dolly decided a few years ago that she was sick of country fluff and went back to her traditional roots, hiring a kick as trad American backing band at the same time. I hate country (bluegrass!!), but I love a lot of her new stuff.
Apparently, record store clerks got a hoot out of seeing their serious customers come in and shamefully asking for the new Dolly Parton album.Only feebs vote.Comment
