I have a ton of CDs from bands which were big in the 60's & 70's so of course Led Zeppelin is in the mix. Stairway to Heaven remains a classic.

actually I didn't put it quite right when I said the grammy didn't know popular music. They do know popular music all too well. That's the problem.

There is so much talent that isn't "mainstream" that doesn't get the attention of the grammys.

so they tend to vote for flash in the pan acts that are popular at the time, but have no long lasting appeal or talent.

I'm not a spelling Nazi. You must of been drunk to spell like that.

The grammys are a joke, but a big to this one

Especially pathetic are the old acts that are handed grammys based on prior work.

I'm looking at you Voodoo Lounge and Time out of Mind.

That said, I think I'll actually watch parts of this one, I've got a couple bands that I really dig up for awards.

Think I'll start listening to LZ mp3s.

get their live stuff - 10 times better. (most of the time at least, page has his moments where hes playing too fast, sloppy, and out of control)
