    Forum disaster

    Due to a hardware failure, all posts made on birdforum after mid december were erased.
    I hope they made regural backups.

    What would you do if something similar would happen here on poly ?

                    I'd start spamming, for once we'd have a need to flood the boards.

                      Burn all my saved threads to CD (or, likely, multiple CD's) and offer them to whomever wanted them.

                              On a tangent, none of the posts from the time of September 11th made it to the Off-Topic Archives, IIRC. Still makes me somewhat mad, it would have been fascinating to reflect on later.
