I did. It mentions a bunch of plays I've never heard of.

Sad news, but he was 89 and had a successful life. His best plays, Death of a Salesman and The Crucible are more relevant now than in years. Plus he got to nail Marilyn Monroe.

Well done Arthur. You will be missed.

PS. I used to love it when Jerry Seinfeld would always call George "Biff".

I've never really known his plays that well, but there's no denying that several of his plays are classics already.

                        RIP.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Well you must admit that it is hard to get worked up over someone who has lived a full life kicking the bucket peacefully at a ripe old age surrounded by family.

Perhaps my alma mater's greatest contribution to the arts.

                            I love The Crucible.

                            Happy trails, Art.
