Again thank you to all who took the time to answer the two questionnaires.
I have now almost completed writing my dissertation. As you have shown interest in the subject of online news consumption, I believe some of you might be interested in reading what the result of your answers is.
At the same time, I am interested if any of you have thoughts on the subject. Thus, I will post my dissertation here now! If you have any comments, please feel free to post here, I will appreciate it!
Special congratulations to Locutus who goes down in academic history as Apolyton's biggest geek.

"I'm online pretty much whenever I'm awake" was the line I was thinking of.
Good dissertation The results seem about right to me. Its a shame you couldn't get a link from a blog somewhere.

Nice article.
Did you get feedback through the usenet? I don't know which newsgroups would have been interested in the subject, but there must be some *.journalism.* or comp.something?

LDi: I've tried the usenet, but all those newsgroups are filled with porn spam and I doubt anyone actually reads it.
That's a pity. Usenet used to be a nice "place". rec.games.roguelike.nethack still is, but you'd have had little or no success in that particular newsgroup.
