Yeah, one of my friends owned an Apple, but she is never touching anything Apple again. It's got a habit of crashing on her and the Apple Store couldn't help her, and since the warrenty was up, she got screwed. She finds using other people's PC's much more stable and it'll be her next computer.

      • How are philosophical arguments supposed to deal with empirical claims?

The thing probably had the wrong sort of RAM. 99 times out of 100 that is what would cause a crash on a Macintosh - incompatible RAM.

Other than that, OS X is pretty hard to crash. And it's spyware and virus free too.

XP is an antiquated piece of crap: poorly organized and with poor graphics.

Defending Windows XP over OS X Tiger is a sign of mental illness.

Pah. Everyone knows that even Windows 3.0 is better than OS X Tiger.

                  • Here's the whole new collection.

As usual: some nice, some not so nice, some vile beyond belief... all at maximum resolution for folk with huge screens.

What have you been smoking? This is a wallpaper thread. I happen to like Apple's wallpapers, but if I used Windows I could download them for free.
