I'm looking for someone that will do commissions from a picture. Does anyone on here know anyone or possibly ran across someone on the net that does this. One for sure maybe two or three. The first one is going to be a gift for a birthday. I may have someone lined up but It's not set in stone since she is very busy. Something reasonable in the price range.

Need Help Finding An Artist For A Portrait
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul TighTags: None

Try looking on DeviantArt. Ask in the forums if you can't find anyone.Blog | Civ2 Scenario League | leo.petr at gmail.com

I've got a couple of artist friends who'd probably do it for a reasonable price, but you'd have to drive over to the Chicago area of Illinois for one (since he can't drive, and IIRC he's working full-time for the red cross and might not be able to take enough time off of work to hop on a bus) and you'd probably have to drive over to the Dayton area of Ohio for the other (though I know that she travels for art shows from time to time, so she might also travel for a commission). The first is more realist, the second is more abstract but not so abstract that a portrait would wind up looking like somebody randomly splashed paint on a canvas.
Other than them, I dunno.
HTML is disabled in signatures

I can do Socialist Realism. I wouldn't be able to do it until mid August though, my supplies are in CA and I'm home in NJ for the summer.Visit First Cultural Industries
There are reasons why I believe mankind should live in cities and let nature reclaim all the villages with the exception of a few we keep on display as horrific reminders of rural life.-Starchild
Meat eating and the dominance and force projected over animals that is acompanies it is a gateway or parallel to other prejudiced beliefs such as classism, misogyny, and even racism. -General Ludd

Well, maybe the other ones then. I take it'd be done from a photograph?
